We just watched this episode. Yes, we are X-File nuts..lol. We bought all 9 seasons. I would like to know if anyone knows the answer to the question I have about this episode.
Is the character...Jane Froelich, the proprietor of a local daycare center in this episode, supposed to resemble Stephen King? She really, really looks just like him, amazingly enough.
I am a Stephen King fan, hugely, and I have watched many films that he has written as well as all his books. I am always on the lookout for him making appearances in the films. I noticed that he was not in this episode of X-Files. So....maybe this resemblance was done on purpose? Thanks.

Sweet! Lemme know whatcha think. I'm having a blast watching this from my past, lol. BTW...just found out the name of this episode is a swear word in Mexican/Spanish...lol. Sorry Moderators...but that is the name of the episode.

Okay - but this is an English board so when I was checking out this episode on-line of the X-Files I did not make the connection. Chinga does not come up on my spell check so I guess it isn't in the dictionary either. I always forget that in the States they learn both English and Spanish in school. Up here we take both English and French.

Mr. King makes cameos in some of his movies and/or TV series but not every single adaptation. I was looking for him in "Under the Dome" recently and I was quite disappointed when he did not have a role to play (a cameo).

Come to think of it, unless he's been hiding in a cave under that dome it's unlikely he'll be in next season's episodes either.

No idea but if it was intentional, that would have been something done from Chris Carter's team. This is the first time I'm aware that it's been brought up.

Stephen didn't (consciously) know that until after he'd submitted the script but they decided to leave it as is even though it is a Mexican slang word for intercourse.

BTW, the plot of the show doesn't have any correlation to the title. Here's a synopsis from imdb.com:

Scully takes a much needed vacation in New England. When she arrives at a grocery store, Scully encounters several people who have clawed their own eyes. Scully assists the local police department in discovering the cause of this unusual occurrence. Scully's investigations lead her to a single mother with a disturbed little girl and her even more disturbing doll.

Thanks everyone for the welcome back! Been quite some time since I've been here..lol. Same username I had before. Awesome information from everyone. I also read that King wasn't aware of the title of that episode. The episode was great. Even my son who is 10 could tell the story was by Stephen King mainly..lol. I know, I know....yes I allow my son to watch certain movies by Stephen King. Can't help it, need to share a great author! I would recommend this episode of X-Files to any Stephen King fan. Not as creepy I bet as he originally wrote, but pretty good. Kinda a bummer that Chris Carter changed some of the script. It will be interesting if anyone finds out the answer about that character resembling Stephen King. Pretty creative to say the least...a female version of Stephen King, lol. Hi again to everyone!
