Part of the problem with society assigning gender roles is the part where people say things like that ^
Would you say that to a naturally born female who was a little more butch? What does it mean to be a woman?
This person may already be more " feminine " that you are.

First let me say that I completely agree with you.

But people would say that about a woman is born female and a little bit butch. Actually, they usually assume she is a lesbian.

...easy young lady...she's not throwing anybody under the proverbial bus...just adding a bit of levity to her post that apparently you took umbrage with...we all see things differently...no need to go into "attack mode"...you are guilty of casting aspersions yourself in that message...

Thank you GNT. I meant no harm in my original post and I appreciate you seeing that and having my back. It appears you and almost everyone else knew where I was coming from so that's all that matters to me. (((GNT)))

...you are most welcome...I respect VB as well, it's just every so often that one of us gets twisted sideways-me included-and I will call them out, just as others have done for me...this is a family and the core of us don't tolerate dissension amongst the ranks...

I only mean to provoke thoughts about the meanings of words and what it means to be feminine or not. Most drag queens are more feminine than I am. What is in the gender.

I wasnt taking umbrage at all, I mean that in society we ALL use these black and white terms and concepts. That's the problem.

As well this whole " calling people out and having people's backs " conversation is imo more silly than even what I said or how anyone took it. This is a message board. Topics are debated and discussed " calling people out " and " having people's backs," proverbial high fives over family and " dissension among the ranks..."

This is a website where discussions are had. Sometimes fairly serious discussions. I would consider trans issues and rights fairly serious and I have no problems getting into passionate discussions about it, but to get extra excited about my comment and have to " defend " people with such strong dramatic language is quite silly.

It's a discussion- if a grown up can enter a discussion a grown up can live with not liking the discussion and not need rescue from another said grown up. Nice bit of chivalry but the OP is a grown woman.

As for " this is a family and the core of us don't tolerate dissension among the ranks " I get it, I'm not one of you, and therefore have less area to offend as I'm not a regular and I don't " own " this message board. Touche, point taken.
