I obviously love the man's work, and have wanted a King related tattoo. After years of contemplation I have finally come up with an idea that I love. I want a stack of SK books on my left leg that goes from my ankle bone up to my knee bone. I have a tattoo there I want covered. The original inspiration for the tattoo is this picture:

I want the books to be: Duma Key, The Stand, It, The Gunslinger, Dreamcatcher, Desperation, and Under The Dome. BUT I don't want the straight up spine art. I want specific imagery from each book, and I don't want the name printed, or Stephen King's name. I just want the art. This is what I am thinking for each book:
Duma Key: The ship on the horizon. Black on a red, stormy sky. Horizontal.
The Stand: the Lincoln tunnel clogged with cars. with Larry in the foreground, guitar on his back like a sword. Horizontal.
It: Pennywise looming over silhouettes of the loser's club. Vertical.
The Gunslinger: Simply the dark tower, slightly faded behind a bank of mist. Vertical design.
Dreamcatcher: A snow scene with a dreamcatcher & a file box. Horizontal.
Desperation: A desert landscape covered with wild dogs. Horizontal.
Under The Dome: The dome over the town. (stock cover) Horizontal.
Not sure If I should get the drawings, and bring them to a tattoo artist, or if I can find a tattoo artist that can draw what I want.
Tell me some of your King tattoo stories.
