That happened the first day to me, but after a while I think your computer will track your cookies or something :m_thinking: and take you directly here...or just add the new board to your favourites and delete the old one from your favourites if you had it saved that way.

Each book is plotted a bit more densely, which is interesting. I have a soft spot for HSB, though--read it at a trying time in my own life, and it took me right out of myself. I liked 20th CENTURY GHOSTS, too, particularly "Best New Horror"--that story was the wierdest, most disturbing thing I'd read in a long time, so naturally I loved it :) Locke & Key is an extremely well-done graphic novel--can't wait to read the second volume (hardbound).

You should read his Kindle short story Twittering From the Circus of the Dead. It is weird, disturbing... And funny, too!

It's good to be back here, too. But, it is difficult to actually get get signed in to the new version of the Board. I added it to my 'favorites' list on my computer so hopefully it will pull up the new version instead of the old one. If it pulls up the old one it takes me awhile to figure out how to get to the new version, which is a little frustrating.

Until I removed the old URL from my bookmarks list, I had that problem a couple times, too, but got around it by going to the Home page of the core site and clicked on the link there to the Message Board which takes you to this new one.

I'd forgotten about that one; weird, because he is one of my favorite people on Twitter :) Going to DL it right now. I liked IN THE TALL GRASS, as well. One thing I noticed though--I'd started to think that he and SK wrote very much alike...until I read that. It was pretty easy to pick out who wrote what bits, so they're not indistinguishable (lol). Then again, I haven't been reading JH for over three decades, either :D

Enjoy!
I'm reading his other Kindle single, Thumbprint, right now. It too is disturbing, but in a whole other way.

I thought there was a wee bit of resemblance to a young James Brolin with a beard (like in Amityville Horror) but not really a lot

And yeah, I did post this on the old board but what the heck! :glee:
I am not completely sure, but I believe it was the author John Scalzi who tweeted about this picture something along the lines of: "1990s Kenny Loggins called, and he wants his hair back." :snicker:
