Are the Boards Re-opening on Weekends?

Well this is good news indeed. I have so missed Sunday night chats.
No hatin from me. I wonder if they could recruit and train a weekend-only mod so they could take those days off?
...I have been a fair amount of years-with both weekends on and off, and I have to say that this last month of decompression for my fair ladies, and de-idioting some of the unwise...has been an eye-opener to how much I depend on this Board in my downtime....several of you have stated it much more eloquently than I shall-but Board free weekends taught ME a valuable lesson on how truly special this cyber-spot is...most all of us act like a REAL family from hugs and love to hurt feelings and being fractious-but at the core, the love remains and the wisdom of our "girls" carries the day....I know it's odd for me to be serious, but once in a while I like to let Deej, Flake and Marsha know how much I love them-and Marsha has had her whole face kissed by me-and I swear I'll get you other two pretties someday...you ARE our Guardians and guides and we owe you a debt....to those of you special to me-and you should know who you are, it's a cup of hot coffee this Saturday morning...be there or be Ric Flair....

I'm not sure if you saw my earlier post, but there are no plans to add extra moderators. DJ and I are working our schedules so that we both get a day off each week.

I've started getting accustomed to the board being down over the weekend. I started thinking... Between the time Ms Mod logs out on Friday and back in on Monday, there's something like 64 hours that the other two mods need to cover over the weekend. Shoot me now, but I would be fine limiting the hours that the board is open over the weekend.

I third that one. It's actually kind of refreshing, having a responsible board that gives its members and mods a time out.

All these lovely posts has me wanting to run naked through a field of wildflowers, with the sun splashing on my face, with the wind blowing through my hair, while I gather up all the furry little animals I can find and feed them and protect them from the forces of nature that do them harm.
