Not like that....
It's a processed cheese food......and I hope no one ever informs me exactly what's in the stuff....but I love it in mac n cheese, and I use it in a lot of recipes, especially spicy sausage dip....

A popular brand of pasteurized process cheese introduced by Kraft Foods in 1928. Velveeta is a blend of colby and cheddar cheeses with emulsifiers and salt. The ingredients are heated until liquified, packaged in aluminum foil, then cooled. Velveeta has a smooth texture and is creamy when melted. Several varieties are available: original, light, Mexican Hot and Mexican mild.

I would have to consider getting off my diet for a while if presented with spicy sausage velveeta dip and Tostitos. As long as I'm splurging, throw in a 2-liter Pepsi!
