lol. I have a cat also she is 17 and i have had her since she was 6 weeks. taz will try to come check her out or snuggle up to her and she will box his nose or just growl. He always gives in to her. Funny thing is she doesn't have any claws. but when it was real cold out the other day she had no problem snuggling up to him as long as he didn't snuggle her. lmao

Oooo a weekend away is so good too! Though after lots of warm North Island weather, I am happy to be at work, in the air con and watching the rain!

Snap! We were in Rotorua/Taupo from Fri last week until Sun night--it was fantastic! I'm glad you got to re-visit some of your old haunts.
The initial quake was in the region of Castlepoint (I think a chunk of Castle Rock came down and wiped out about 9 seals.
) and then the shocks immediately after were a bit closer to Eketahuna.No damage at my place but there were some broken windows in town, this one felt stronger to me than the ones in Wellington last year, but again I think that is just because of proximity.
