We went to visit our son's family. Usually after their daughter has been left with us for more than 36 hours, she cries the next time she sees us, thinking she is being abandoned. (She is such a daddy's girl.) well, she has stayed with us an entire week, and without her brother...but when she saw us, she was straight over for hugs.
Her brother loved the birthday presents we brought him.
So...good day.

She is 1 1/2. The last year she has been left with us so many times. She is happy while she's here, but then when we show up, she's afraid of daddy leaving.
Grandchild number six is due next spring.

Thanks Lin - I feel really tired tonight. Not sure if it's just relief to be back in a regular routine or maybe a little bit due to this time change.
How are things going with you?
Things are going ok. The gas bubble in that eye is starting to drive me alittle crazy.
I've just booked my flights to Greece for January so I'm super super super ecstatic!!! 
This dark, cold and miserable weather just doesn't agree with me, I need something to look forward to...hence flights are booked! Also decided to spoil myself today (because nobody else does 
) which resulted in buying the new SK book, a pair of rose-pink Puma suede shoes, the coolest Blondie top, a selection of my favourite bath-bombs, sushi to die for...ooh and a bottle of mega-decent red wine. Cheers! Yup, I'm a very happy gal right now. Hope everyone is doing good also.
