This does look good. One thing I hope for it: please, no humor whatsoever. I think many of us here probably agree that Breaking Bad is one of the best projects to have ever come across our television sets. The one thing that kept it from being perfect, in my opinion, was any of its attempts at humor. The show would occasionally get into slapstick-mode (recall the time when Marie needed to get Hank out of the hospital) and would take me out of the spell.

This upcoming project looks as if it will be played straight. Sort of like No Country For Old Men. To the best of my knowledge, there was no humor in that film, was there?

Did you watch "The Making of True Detective"? I'm totally crazy about Woody (you know why!) and Matthew (he's sort of like a young Paul Newman and a young Marlon Brando swirled together). It looks pretty intense. I think HBO does a good job with most of their stuff. I loved Six Feet Under and Carnivale.

OH MY GOD! Me too! I own Carnivale on CD (what there is of it.) I was crazy disappointed when they didn't go on with that one. And Six Feet Under -- brilliant. I bawled like a banshee at the ending.

Funny! Me too on both. I love that Sia song and the youtube that goes with it. Best ending of a series ever! And I was so bummed when Carnivale didn't come back. I toyed with writing a few episodes for myself, just to give it a proper ending.
