Which was the first King book to make you cry? I honestly can't remember mine - seems like at some point many of them bring tears to my eyes.
Just about every one has at some point. Easier to say which ones haven't--lol. The two I've read most recently, Joyland and Lisey's Story, tore me up quite a bit. I cried so much when I was a teen and read Cujo that I don't think I'll ever read it again--so much worse now that I have kids of my own.

Both of those made me cry - and I cried again when I read that scene DanaJean quoted up there - I'd forgotten. I haven't read Cujo, but I have read some spoilers on that - I think I'd cry there too. Several times during my Dark Tower reading I have found myself in tears.

...many people have it at or near the bottom of their list of his novels-I myself and others found it endlessly fascinating and a well qualified contender in his lexicon...also has a nice DT tie-in...

Im one of those people that it ranks toward the bottom, but - as Ive said in other threads - SK books are a LOT like old Star Trek: Even when they're bad, they're still good and better than a lot of other things :D
