Just got my two tickets to Jersey City. I was going to Go just to the one in PA because I wasn't to fond of the travel to Jersey, but the page said the tickets for PA had to be picked up in person. I called the Penguin bookstore and the friendly lady there said that had not been set in stone and that could change. I told her I hope so due to people wishing to attend that are out of town. She said to just keep looking at the FB page and webpage and they will announce soon how to get tickets. If they are sold online or by phone I will attend both events. If not at least I secured my Jersey Tickets.

Also the above picture of the Theatre in Jersey makes me happy. That's a great looking place. Make you forget for a min where you are.

When you ordered your tickets, did you actually get tickets to download or just an order confirmation? When I check my order, it says "order created" and "processing." Makes me a little nervous.

No, I did not get any actual tickets to print. Just conformation and of course the deduction of my money. But I would not be nervous. The email I got from SK.com this morning was still advertising that the event was on sale and expected to sell out. I feel confident we got seats, only question is where? I was a little bummed I was busy at work yesterday and didn't get to check on this until a little before 5pm, and seen they went on sale at 2:30 and first come first row ect. I really like this idea, because at the DC Revival event I had bought tickets and still had to go and wait outside in the cold the day of the event to ensure I got a good seat as they were not assigned. I'm just wondering if I got ticket 20 or 200. or 19 :eyebrow:

I've actually been e-mailing someone at the store (a very nice, competent person) and she said we should get e-mails today confirming our tickets and more info. I quote, "the elves are working as fast as they can." She said they have never had to deal with this volume of tickets for an event. Understandable.
I'm very excited for this!

Cool, I am interested in seeing what seat I got. Been keeping a close eye on the Penguin Bookstore webpage for any announcement of when those tickets go on sale as well. I hope they decide against the in store purchase only.

I recieved an e-mail just a couple of hours ago stating the following:

"Thank you for purchasing 2 books and tickets to WORD's event with Stephen King on Tuesday, June 7th at the Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theatre (54 Journal Square, Jersey City, NJ 07306). There is no paper ticket! Each ticket guarantees entry to the event plus one copy of the hardback edition of END OF WATCH. All tickets are non-transferable (no exceptions) so you must bring your ID the day of the event. If you purchased more than one ticket your plus one must arrive and and enter with you. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the event will begin promptly at 7:30pm. You will receive your assigned seat(s) via email soon!"

So I guess it's another waiting game to find out about seating. At least now I know I definitely have seats and 2 books! Woo hoo!

I just purchased tickets to the show in Iowa City which are general admission. There was nothing stating they were pre-numbered like the ones in Jersey. Anyone have any info or advice on how to go about getting a good seat the night of the show?? Much appreciation for the help!! :)
So I emailed the venue, no numbered seats. She said there are a little over 700 seats. So chances of getting a signed copy are great! I would still like advice on standing in line to get a good seat. If anyone has any ideas, or experience, please let me know!
Thank you!!!!

Thank you!!!!

For the DC event for Revival, I purchased tickets and the day of the event I went 8 hours in advance and sat outside in the cold to make sure I got a great seat. And I wasn't even the first in line, there was about 4 or five people in front of me who got there earlier. In this instance it was first ones in get the best seats. So unfortunately I just suggest getting their early, at least you wont have to be cold. Bring a good book and a snack.

Just purchased my tix this morning for Louisville. I thought it was pretty cool that they are showing Stand By Me movie after the event. The boys and I will have a good time for sure. Anyone know how many tickets for the Louisville venue are being sold? I want to figure my odds of a signed copy.

My understanding is they're making all 2,300 available.

Thanks for the feedback - that is helpful!!
I asked the venue why some events there are general admission and some are assigned seating. She said that This event's seating was determined by the author's agent/ publisher. I notice some of the other book reading events on this tour are assigned seating. Does anyone know why the agent/publisher would make it different for different venues?
