Wilmington DE, strange little place.
I all most never read a book in 1 sitting.
it can take me three or four days. sometimes weeks

I love Joyland , finished it in like 5 hours.
Dr. Sleep was also good. , two sittings

11/22/63 was like 5 sittings, IT and The Stand were years ago and they were
like ...2 weeks for those monsters.

Carrie was the only other that I did in one sitting. JoyLnad is a short
book by King standards

JOYLAND WAS NOT what I thought !!!!
its not a" 50's crime story" like I thought it would be...
its a King book through and through!!!

One of the people has the last name Dean.
and one other person (woman) seems to be a natural GunSlinger.

its very cool .

I do not re read very much, all most never ....only King and the Wicked series

The 4 Wicked books are WICKED !! btw.

re read TGWLTG , yes, and Im researching the dates in that book.

I believe Trisha (the whole story) happens very close to the date
June 19th, 1998, one year to the DAY !!!

The Darkside of the Moon (England really)
I could smell the popcorn!
I could hear the Pink Floyd. Oh wait, that was just me playing Pink Floyd.

Tiny - I could never read a book in a single sitting, my eyes would probably close over of their own accord. I am a slow reader, usually just a night reader too so a book generally takes me about a month, but I read Joyland in 5 days. I just couldn't put it down. I would read at night, think "I'll have an hours reading" and would force myself to put it down and get some sleep 3 hours later.

I'm so happy to hear this Nameless. I read Joyland in a few days as well. But that's not typical for me. I drag books out a loooooong time. By the time I find some time to read (only at night after EVERYTHING else has been done), I'm wiped out.

Just joined this message board having just just finished Joyland this morning. I've just started reading the Dark Tower series, but took a short break to read this on the recommendation of a friend, and it was everything I'd hoped for and so much more. And what fun to discover this reader board, too! Hope everyone has a great day! Cheers, -Sean
