I guess we are big sky lolHi there!

Apparently soI guess we are big sky lol
I would love your state. It is my kinda place with the mountains like Alberta.Apparently so
I think I would love it there, too. I've seen some of the pics you've posted from up there...absolutely beautiful!I would love your state. It is my kinda place with the mountains like Alberta.
Yes, I do love the white stuff. I love British Columbia, which is our neighbouring province.....we share the Rocky Mountains. Up high, there is snow but along the coast, it is mild. Vancouver is a lovely city....with a bay one can swim in....up above, the mountains and lovely snow. In the city proper....mild weather. Very nice but nothing compares to the Alberta parks.I think I would love it there, too. I've seen some of the pics you've posted from up there...absolutely beautiful
Although...there might not be enough snow here for you. Way too much for me, I'm not a fan.
Yes it is weird. Hard for parents getting kids to bed. Same thing in NW territories and Yukon. It got dark here about 10 (ish). I have a friend who is traveling to Anchorage next week for 3 weeks--she's trying to get ready for no dark at all for all that time. That would be so WEIRD.
I'm sure it is hard! My son resists if it's light outside, and I can't blame him--I can't sleep if it's light at night, either. He's got room darkening curtains, and that got us through the end of the school year, but now I just let him stay up later.Yes it is weird. Hard for parents getting kids to bed. When I moved to Alberta, I was wondering why folks had tin foil in their bedroom windows. A lot were shift workers who could not stand all that light. In Newfoundland, it gets dark way earlier. I was in for a surprise lol. The converse in true in Winter.I'm sure it is hard! My son resists if it's light outside, and I can't blame him--I can't sleep if it's light at night, either. And at 15 hours and 2 seconds...News said that we are going to have 15 hours and 1 second of daylight today.
