Hey folks,
I teach high school, and I was looking to add some new short stories to my freshman curriculum. I was wondering if any of you could suggest some SK stories that would be appropriate for classroom use with younger readers?
I've read almost all of SK's stuff, but there is SO much out there, it's hard for me to recall what might work without rereading everything. So what I'm looking for is...
- The shorter, the better (as SK says, he often suffers from "literary elephantiasis")
- Minimal/no sexual content
- Limited profanity
Basically, think "PG-13" level stories. I know "Strawberry Spring" is used in some of the earlier grades. Can anyone think of any others that might work?
