But no. Wasn't. It was one of the child abuse cases. Imprint/bruises still on face at school. Matched the flops of foster mother.

We did good today, No dealed someone, and indicted someone who was not even charged. (they can do that!, my vote still does not count)
Prosecutor and Clerk said Yesss! after recording went off..' Hoped you all would do that.' Then and only then do we get to hear other stories and and other charges pending..what happened and other things they can't

Went on a hike today, this was my view (well, not this exactly...I got this pic online because hubby and a friend were in the pics we took earlier. So picture this more brown and autmn-ish and without the graffiti).

Installed vinyl siding, that same house I posted about above. Or below, if you scroll that way. Not that there's anything wrong with that. You have your ups and downs, as the old man used to say. And that's all there is to it. We're working, right, not paying attention to the time, trying to Get Things Done. I'm in a hurry, so forth so on. Oh I rush and rush until life's no fun. I had my phone one me before 10 a.m. kahvi aiga and I left it in the truck when we went back. Waiting on a window delivery, the driver usually calls when he is in Chassell...or maybe Houghton, "crossing the bridge". I'd had Adam start picking things up 'cause we were at that point, didn't want to leave a bunch of tools lying about if we had to go meet the truck. Customer was called outside by some guy in a Cobalt. A car I take it though maybe it means the color? They say something about lunch, I say something about we're waiting for the truck, we sit down, he'll call then. We keep going, we'll arrive at the same time. Anyway, I climb down off the scaffolding and head to the truck, realize oh fudge, that's why the driver hasn't called...cell phone sitting on the console. The number "2" by one of the icons indicating two missed calls.
We had scaffolding already in the truck for the Bosch Brewery window job, two biggies, eight feet long, five high, two sections of scaffolding comes up about three feet below the sill. Windows arrived, took them off, stuck them in the garage below, shot the bull for a time, said adios I'm gone sit in a tree. Which I did, eventually, had this small for'corn come walking up before I set...which is rare. I'm pulling my cell outta my pocket thinking oh crap I forgot to set it on vibrate. Watch it ring now.
Nope. I've got two tree stands in these big hemlock and one I use like a table. Had Hearts in Suspension sitting on the seat, cell phone, a pack of gum. Spearmint, if it matters. After the four'corn booked I saw some other deer, watched, waited, eventually started reading. Read all but the last two essays which I'll likely finish tonight. Kinda noisy tonight. Could hear this irritating beep! beep! beep! across Torch Lake, some truck or end-loader backing up. And then some clown was over in Red Barn, sounded like he (we can safely assume it was indeed a he) was setting off fireworks, blasting away with three four or more different guns small and large caliber. After I left I went to look for brass but couldn't find where he'd been shooting. It happened last year, same way, as I recall doing the same thing, looking for brass or those crappy steel cases with the Berden primers.

Tomorrow, I'll hunt some early a.m. then head to Houghton to install a counter-too and quarter-round on those cabinets in that bath I remodeled. Have three or four people I need to call and meet with, too, and then it's back to the tree. Probably ought to download another Prey story from Sandford. Rain is forecast.
