How's this for "what goes around comes around"!

I read your post, then went up to ask my son how you could fix this. He was giving me some instructions of how to find instructions on-line, and he stopped what he was doing and was googling around to find it.

Then I noticed there were responses to your problem, so I told him thanks, but it's OK.

And I came downstairs. Sat down. And he hollers "it's live again".

I run upstairs, and this time....his order went through.

He hasn't received the confirmation e-mail yet, but he did get the order #. And when we ordered from the same store in Boxing Day it took a long time to get the e-mail.
That's great - I hope your son has a lot of fun with his games! =D:m_game: :m_clap:

What did I do today?

Got up early as I needed a good haircut and my hairdresser lives 25 km away

Figured out why our printer was not working and changed the inkjet cartridges at the same time.

That's about all

Now waiting for Andy to get ready so we can go out for a late lunch :cool-new:
:m_cruise:oh yes! We also need to go pick up the tickets for Dwight Yoakam who will be here tomorrow night

The necessity of shopping compelled me to try to start the car, which, of course, it would not. I called my insurance again and again had them phone the local service, as otherwise they would call the nearest service signed up with them which is thirty miles away. A guy came right over, but with the first jump start unit the car wouldn't start. He left and came back with another, but the engine still would not turn over at all. He said my battery was toast, but I pointed out it started instantly the time the other guy from the same place brought a jump start unit, and started fine for me on a warmer day. He then said maybe it wasn't the car that wasn't so good, but the units, and he would need jumper cables. He checked his rig but his had been stolen, so we attacked with implements of destruction my trunk, which was piled high with snow and frozen solid with ice. It's lucky he was young and strong as a lesser mortal couldn't have done it. I had to pull up on the trunk release while he pushed so hard he didn't so much pop open the trunk, but lifted the entire car so the trunk finally fell open from the weight. But it did open and we got the car started with the jumper cables. Later Mom did a wash and since the temperature was up to 25º or so it went all the way through without the pipes freezing.

I don't actually know what I did today. But I'm back to wearing this,

image.jpeg

Which made quilting a very risky job.

I strained my wrist when I was a teen, and every now and then it just, I don't know...twists the wrong way or something. I have discovered that the brace relieves pain without medication. also, taking pills often results in me not realizing I should not do something, and either I injure it worse, or drop something....usually resulting in me limping.
