Beautifully said.Stephen King hiring someone else to write his autobiography? That is unthinkable! That would be like if Jesus returned and hired David Copperfield to perform miracles for him!
I have Beahm's book. I also have The Stephen King Story, also by Beahm. Better to stick with what SK has actually written, however, such as, Dance Macabre and On Writing. Also, the Forwards of many of his books usually contain a wealth of personal information. SK hiring someone to write his autobiography is like The Beatles hiring another band to record "Hey Jude." Not cool.It is not official or authorized and it has a lot of misinformation.
I'm fairly certain that Marsha had previously mentioned that this has not been authorised by Stephen.Perhaps I am in the wrong thread. I have had a 'sample' book pop up on the Kindle.
I don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere.
'Haunted Heart' - the lives and times of Stephen King. - Lisa Rogak. I sampled a bit of it.
I don't know anything about the book or the author.
I sort of feel weird reading the sample. I doubt it was authorized, and will not purchase it - unless Ms. Mod Moderator (or others, Hi Bev Vincent!) can say who Lisa Rogak is, and it has been approved.

No this one was not authorized, and I get a bit of a not nice vibe from it, I almost whould fell like I am going against king or something. I think their may be a bit or lot of liesI'm fairly certain that Marsha had previously mentioned that this has not been authorised by Stephen.

Biographies and books ABOUT SK never get translated here, and this one is.
This is the English version, I think. It's actually from 2010 it seems, but it just came out here:

No, it was not an authorized biography.Thanks. So is it authorized?
It isn't. She did come to the office and I spoke with her there but Stephen was not in the office that day.I read the Lisa Rogak book. I remember a part where she said that she was talking to King's P.A., asking if she could have meeting with King and King was in the next room listening. I don't know if that is true.
