Hi!
I recently bought a signed picture supposedly by Stephen King.
its maybe hard to see on this image, but i can see that this cannot be a copy. Because the picture is glossy like those evoked pictures get.
I compared mine to several others on google and its seems to be legit.
What do you guys think?
Thanks for answers!

IMG_0834.JPG ...welcome Marcus....if this is of any help, I know this is real/genuine-because it was sent to me by our own Moderator-who is King's personal assistant....we used it in a benefit auction for a member here......

What can i do to the guy who sold it?
If he claims it was real? I guess there isnt much to do?
Did you find out how this seller was able to get it signed? I only ask because I know Steve is uncomfortable signing pictures instead of books. It might be legit (the siggy) as sometimes when someone signs something that is small (like this pic) their siggy does look different because they're trying to cram it on a small space.

All he said was that it was real, it was his friend who collected autographs for years, he have some other auctions online if you want to see those?

If it was authentic, I would be shocked. If you look at any of his signatures, the curve around Stephen is wrong - the arc is too pointed and it does not encompass the S, the T & H should be the same height or higher than the S, the K has too much of a loop and it almost always should be outside of the Stephen "swoosh", the end of the "swoosh" line usually doesn't go much past the K, the P and G are totally off and it doesn't seem to be written at the same angle Stephen signs. Those are the things that stick out the worst.

Even is this was rushed, it would still maintain those same traits. Forgeries are meant to emulate the original or they wouldn't be forgeries. If you paid a lot for this, I would try to go thru Ebay to get your money back.
