I experience the same phenomena from the womenfolk in my household if I Inadvertently wake any of them too early in the morning.
Can you blame them?

I think Steve is past the time of holding up Owen in his arms.
It's not being woke up too early. It's that they have to see him when they do.
Can you blame them?
Ah now - be nice! It's not being woke up too early. It's that they have to see him when they do.
Hey! I'm Irish too!!! It's a long tradition to be bristly with a fellow Irishman.Ah now - be nice!
Today is the Irishman's special day!
Well - Happy St. Patrick's Day thenHey! I'm Irish too!!! It's a long tradition to be bristly with a fellow Irishman.
Besides I think what I said is factual.
They should recreate it like these guys did.

I bet there's long discussions, and hence, belated appreciation, when the guys have to work out how to their own laundry and make their own sandwiches!!
I think he means in the context of the novel...the men are fending for themselves.I am not shure I understand you?
I mean, in this new age of equality, I bet most men still don't know how to do the basics. There's a lot to be thankful to women for.I am not shure I understand you?
No you are correct and I think that will be put in the book somehowI k

Not meant as a sexist comment, in case you're wondering.
Exactly.I think he means in the context of the novel...the men are fending for themselves.
I don’t think it's that we (men) don’t know how to do the basics, it’s that the way we perform those basics isn’t up to most women’s standards. I think men and women often prioritize tasks differently. When we have to do something we don't enjoy we go by the philosophy of "Good Enough." And different is not necessarily wrong.I mean, in this new age of equality, I bet most men still don't know how to do the basics. There's a lot to be thankful to women for.

I would never say the things either of these people are saying. Nitpicky.I don’t think it's that we (men) don’t know how to do the basics, it’s that the way we perform those basics isn’t up to most women’s standards. You folded the wash wrong.
They’re folded, fit in the drawers, hung, and aren’t wrinkled. How is that wrong?
It just is. And now I have to refold everything.
Why?
There’s a certain way things should be done and you need to learn the right way.
I can do wash and fold it. You have your way and I have my way.
You’re lazy and purposely doing it wrong so you don’t have to do it any more.
No, if I’m going to do the wash, I’m doing it my way.
And when I checked, you mixed cold and warm wash. You can’t do that.
In the beginning when the clothes are new, maybe, but after a while I find it doesn’t matter.
Well, it matters to me.
Then don’t critique what I do... just be glad I did it.
FORGET IT! I’ll just do it myself.
Sounds good.
You’re an idiot.
