Ah yes - aren't you former or current law enforcement?

Hope you managed to get those keys out without too much difficulty =D

I've been smiling and cracking up a lot today, mostly because my fiance keeps calling me just about every hour to say:

1)She really loves her ring.
2)What do I think about this color or that color as wedding colors?
3)What kind of food do I want?
4)Who my best man will be?
5)What kind of invitations do we want to send out?
6)Letting me know the wedding colors have now changed in the last half hour.
7)Letting me know how happy she is (I could listen to that all day).
8)What if it rains?
9)What if she can't find a dress that looks nice?
10)The wedding colors are now back to the original ones, which I've forgotten since there have been several iterations.
11)She's never been this happy.
12)She's swamped at work and doesn't have time to work on her vows......
13)Am I working on my vows?...lol

Holy crap, this thing isn't even happening until next March...lol
I'm loving seeing her so happy but she's going to stroke out before Thanksgiving if she keeps going like this...lol

Hope everyone has a good day.
WHAT??? FIANCE???

I don't know how I missed this news. Guess because I have been buried in closets and such this week.

Congratulations!!! So very happy for you.

My train was delayed this morning, making me late for my fingerprinting appointment :(

Working now. Dentist appointment this evening.

Have to get drug screened tomorrow. New employment red tape is such a PITA.

Going to see Nighthawks on the big screen tomorrow night!

Taking off early today. Throwing a big party for the wife’s 50 and her father’s 75 birthday tomorrow. About 100 people (150 if those that didn't RSVP come anyway) coming to my house. Soooo behind schedule with having to buy 2 new cars for the family these last two weeks. And now it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. Gonna set up my three tents today. I have an 8x8, a 12x12 and a 10x20. Will probably have to head out and get a couple more tables, but where will I find the needed chairs? I can't ask my father-in-law to help because it's to be a surprise for him. I was mowing in the dark last night under attack from skeeters, and my legs are all cut up from the thorny plants at the bottom of the property I couldn't see. I wonder how the lawn looks today... good enough will have to do. And all the grocery shopping isn’t finished and I need to get loads of beer and supplies. If it wasn’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all. Tahiti is looking better and better every day. :(

Thanks, but not enough time. I have about a dozen outdoor stackable chairs and a dozen others for outdoors. People were told to bring chairs but there is always a percentage that never listens. Kmart has sports chairs on sale for $7.99. I figure I could always give some of them away as door prizes once the party dies down and return some if they aren't opened and used.

No equipment and party rental stores in your area?

Yeah, I might end up doing that. I will let the wife make the final call on chairs because whatever I decide will be wrong. I would need about two hours out of the day to get them and back. They have them for $1.60 and $1.75 for the day but I would need to rent them for two days this weekend because I couldn't get them and return them the same day.
