I finished the first season on streaming, so I'm ready. I enjoyed season 1. The guy that plays Norman is very good.

I don't know if this is even available or not anymore but in 1990 one of the cable channels did a prequel to Psycho (called Psycho 4) that I liked. Henry Thomas played Norman and Anthony Perkins was in it. I thought it was good and this TV show reminds me a little of it.

Psycho IV: The Beginning (TV Movie 1990) - IMDb

If you go through the reviews and user comments, there are a lot of really love it or really hate it kind of reactions but I remember I liked it (I haven''t seen it for eons though)

I enjoyed the first season, but I'm a fan of WWE Wrestling when Undertaker is around, so it was kind of hard for me to focus on it completely unless I watched the re runs. I kind of got out of it toward the end but I did enjoy it. Looking forward to season 2, it looks good from the previews but time will tell.

Was it the gravedigger that was his little sidekick? I used to have to watch this with my son. Gah! We actually paid good money to take him to a wrestling match of the pros.

Are you talking about The Undertaker?? No, I don't know of any gravedigger or anything. Paul Bearer was his manager for many years, and sadly passed away last year. I grew up watching it in the late 90's, so the only reason I watch anymore is for the few remaining old timers lol.

That's who it was Paul Bearer! I love those two. I always loved their entrances.
Me too! The entrance's still give me goosebumps. I look forward to him coming back every year, even though its for a short period of time. When that bell goes off, I shiver everytime lol! You ought to look up the return he made last Monday night, talk about nostalgia!

It can't be the same without Paul Bearer though. Man they were fun.

Nope it's definitely not, it's very sad indeed. Do you remember Kane? And the mask? I remember as a kid I always wanted to know what he looked like in real life, it drove me crazy lol. If I had only known then that I'd be able to see what he looked like soon enough, and plenty of it!

I think maybe Dana Jean is thinking of Monster Trucks - they have the Gravedigger:
