....illustrious start my friend!.....In the event my wife kicks me out, I'm constructing a man cave in the basement of our house. This way I'll have a place to store my Stephen King library, as well as stay out of the rain.

What if your wife kicks you out of the basement as well?In the event my wife kicks me out, I'm constructing a man cave in the basement of our house.
Just one thought, make sure everything is high enough if you ever have any flooding. In the event my wife kicks me out, I'm constructing a man cave in the basement of our house. This way I'll have a place to store my Stephen King library, as well as stay out of the rain.

She can kick me out, but she damn well better leave my Stephen King library unscathed! What if your wife kicks you out of the basement as well?
The strings my son uses to hang part of his laundry. Beyond the wall is another room where I keep part of my library. New books I keep upstairs, well away from termites. If I turn the camera, you'll see an empty space under the basement floor, cement columns, a stair case, part of my neighbor's house and some greenery. If you're lucky, you might see on the ground a four foot boa constricter some ash-le set loose in my yard.I see the dirt floor and strings holding up a sheet of wood. What do I see if the wall is gone? What do I see if you step out, turn around, and take a pic? Sounds like a fun project.
Happily no flooding in my neck of the woods. The river which causes flooding is six miles away.Just one thought, make sure everything is high enough if you ever have any flooding.
What would you do that would make her kick you out anyways? She can kick me out, but she damn well better leave my Stephen King library unscathed!
Not that I would do this, even consider it, but take your pick. 1, Drink, 2, Use drugs, 3, Be unfaithful, 4, Sloth and laziness, 5, Domestic violence, etc. What would you do that would make her kick you out anyways?
My point is what’s the point of your bunker if the event should never happen? Maybe If you did any of those things she wouldn’t even bother kicking you out and instead Dolores Claiborne you down a well. Not that I would do this, even consider it, but take your pick. 1, Drink, 2, Use drugs, 3, Be unfaithful, 4, Sloth and laziness, 5, Domestic violence, etc.
My bunker is to house my library. Whether the event happens or not. She has stated explicitly that she does not want me (an English major) to fill the main floor with bloody books. Hence, my man cave. When I go, I would rather go in an apocalypse, like in The Stand. My point is what’s the point of your bunker if the event should never happen?
