I absolutely loved the story. I read it originally and Nightmares and Dreamscapes. After the Kon, I found that it was on a CD that had been given by uncle Steve Az a gift bag to the attendees. I listened to it twice in a row. It is such a great story! I do have one question:
I recently attended a horror authors’ event, And some of us got together after dinner and were discussing Stephen King. The people at the table we’re giving a hard time to somebody who had to sneak out for a cigarette! I am a former smoker and I have no problem with anyone who smokes: I enjoyed it it was just so bad for my asthma. anyway, the Girling question defended herself by saying that Stephen King still smoked one cigarette per day. I didn’t know that. Is it true? If it is true, his experience as this particular kind of smoker makes sense as an inspiration for this story . This is just something that I’ve been pondering and I figured I’d drop here .
