This was thrift store purchase and it was meant to be, as far size goes.Where did you get them? I have some mukluk type boots but I need a new pair of nicer boots for when it's not all cold and slushy out.

Oooh - cool! I have to go to the mall today but I don't want to spend a fortune - sometimes we just get lucky like that - glad to hear it!This was thrift store purchase and it was meant to be, as far size goes.
This is brilliant. It looks like a photograph. Thank you. I'm going to check out your uncle's stuff.I finally installed the lamp for the painting above my bed - now all I need is a frame for the thing. I probably need to raise the light up an inch - it isn't as bright as it looks in the pic, though.
This is called "Rain Forest" by my late uncle Robert Venosa. He was a surrealist back in the 70's, used to hang out with Dali, Giger and some of the other great surrealists back in the day. One of the cool things about my uncle's technique is he would selectively use limited glazing in his paintings. Those drops of water are all glazed and really pop when the light hits it. It almost looks like the painting has water droplets on it. This is actually one of his much more normal paintings. Many of them are very surreal and crystaline looking.
* I hope this works. I still can't tell if my pics are showing up!

Most of the songs play alright, there’s quite a few scratches at the end of Monsters, one in Hungry Boys, and two in Fallen Angel
....kinda sound like my Pops....he spends more money on food for the wild critters than he spends on himself.....even built a trough a few years ago to dump corn into for the deer.....funniest thing is when he bit*hed about the turkey's scratching up his yard....I just calmly looked at him and asked "Umm, Dad? What did you think they were going to do when you scattered feed for them? Sweep up?".......Seeds: bush cucumber, bush zucchini, several varieties of radishes, carrots, scallions, looseleaf lettuce, spinach, and sunflowers. Hey, Punxsutawney Phil didn’t see his shadow so it looks like an early spring. Need something to get me in the mood.
Also bought 200 lbs of deer corn and 2 salt licks to distract the deer from jumping my fence and eating all my expensive bird food.
I bitch about the wildlife all the time, also. The wife keeps getting me more crap as presents to feed the animals. The most recent was a feeder with 5 different feeder types on it. More work. I tell her I have ulterior motives. When Armageddon hits we’ll be well stocked with venison, bear, turkey, squirrel and dove.....kinda sound like my Pops....he spends more money on food for the wild critters than he spends on himself.....even built a trough a few years ago to dump corn into for the deer.....funniest thing is when he bit*hed about the turkey's scratching up his yard....I just calmly looked at him and asked "Umm, Dad? .....exactly!!!....I told dad all he had to do, was set up a lawn chair in the front yard and sit a spell there with a shotgun and he'd have enough food for him and the whole damn neighborhood-but no go....the National Wildlife Federation has declared his property a nature preserve.....I bitch about the wildlife all the time, also. Did you figure it out?I did get myself something cool but I can’t rember what it is...... hmm
