Why? Is something going on? :)
For one, many of the municipal pools aren’t opening this summer. With temps approaching 90 degrees we’re getting calls from family and friends wanting to use our swimming pool. We have no problem as long as one of us are home but we’re not leaving the doors unlocked for anyone to just come in and do what they want. Yes, we’re terrible human beings. :(

I did set up a water mister near the pool over the weekend. Pretty cool when you're hot and don't want to jump in the pool but still want to cool off.

Sounds like first world problems to me Dio.

Wondering how schools are going to open and what there plans will be. Here the school is taking up a survey and hope to decide by June. Wondering how much will be on line.
As of now our K-12 schools will not have more than 15 or 16 students in a particular class. Also mixed alternate days, and mixed times to attend school in person, and some online classes. I think we'll have to purchase a hundred more school buses and drivers. Translation... One big clusterfark. But they have until mid July to come up with a definite plan. Guaranteed they'll pick a plan that has no hopes of working and the kids actually learning.

In England they were going to reinstate schools but they have since decided not to as there has been a massive upsurge, it is very risky to get Schools back, try telling kids that they have to stay metres away.

So far our surveys are asking if we will be transporting or own children or is there a need for busing. Do we prefer for our children to be in school fulltime or part time. Online schooling full time or part time?

My daughter is in college and has been forced to take online classes. Little to no help if there is something the students don't understand. Half the time the site crashes and there have been numerous problems with testing and no recourse for the students from the problems they experience. It's basically like having to learn out of a textbook and little else. Try doing that with statistics. And the school gets to charge $4,500 a subject for something worth now about $500 without one-on-one interaction with professors and any help other that what you can get on your own.

Thank god I have a country which pays for university education, I feel sorry for your daughter, having to take online classes and pay that amount of money, criminal is what it is.

It is very sad it is like like. You would think they could cut the price to ease everything for all involved.
