I can understand there might be a little bit of "let down" from such a high pressure job, so you're still in that mode. You'll settle in. Glad you are doing well.

You too :) He does put on an excellent show. Still massively jealous re: 3rd of Nov ;) And crazy is good ;) Glad to be chatting; I hope that you have a good Christmas/New Year period, regardless of faith :) [Buddhist here, so I'm pretty much just joining in! ;)]

I'm jealous of where you live. Always wanted to visit England. Your country has so much history to study, I don't think I'd ever leave if I visited. I'm not much on religion and don't know much about Buddhism. You have a good Christmas and a safe New Year. Take care ma'am.

Thank you; you too :) You should definitely visit the UK if you get the chance; where we live is pretty boring, ha, but there are lots of good places :) And you're totally right about the history; if I lived in London, I would have to be surgically extracted from the museums & such ;) And really, there's something of interest in most places here, I think. Hope you're having a good day, and Merry Christmas! :) x

You are absolutely correct:) I piss and moan sometimes about being born and raised in Arkansas, but as I watched the terrain change from flat lands to domed mountains on my flight into XNA last weekend, it felt pretty good getting back to the hills.

I feel the same if I have to go to London (a mere hour away). Hate the built up city. Rolling home on the train, nothing makes me happier than seeing the fields and cows and villages. Sometimes the best part of going away is the coming back. Take it easy.

I've been reading Mr. King's books for the better part of thirty years. One cold day in the winter of 1982, just after my tenth birthday, I picked up "Cujo" from my local library and read it cover to cover the same day. Something magical happened during that day, the last magical thing I can remember in my life until I met my wife and when my son was born. Time slipped on the day I read my first Stephen King book. I didn't realize I was done with the book until I looked up after the last page. The sun was setting, it was getting dark, and I had no recollection of time passing since reading the first page. I have never forgotten that day, it is sacred in my memory. On that day, time really was different. That was the day I joined the ranks of constant reader.

Spending time with my wife and son, firearms, reading books on my Nook, fishing.
