Nope, where my dad hails from. Found it by accident online, not a fam pic. We're just getting over a little snow squall only 5 inches.

I didn't go out much today, but it is snowing a little. But we haven't had much show yet, so it hasn't been too bad. Is your profile pic from your area?

I'm the daughter of a genius scientist and an artist/crafter/banker. The banker part was for the money. The characters on "Big Bang Theory"? I grew up with these people. Imagine. I've been a lot of things and still don't know what I wanna be when I grow up. I'm an optimist, think worrying is unproductive (unlike Mom) and have a few friends who know how much they're cherished. I'm recently orphaned and still talk to my parents everyday.
The first book I read of Stephen's was "The Stand". Spoiled rotten I was. Tried to read other horror authors but to no avail. This section asks for fav books and movies but it's so hard to pick. I read a lot usually one author at a time. I love finding authors with 3 or more book series. I'm doing a reading bingo for our library so I'm reading new categories but otherwise, I'm into urban fantasy right now. Witches, werewolves and vamps,oh my!
My parents didn't raise us with gender roles, thought it was stupid and a waste of talent. I learned woodworking at my Dad's knee, starting as soon as I could vacuum up sawdust and match to the outline/put away tools on the pegboard. I started doing this work for money about 4 years ago. Our company has dwindled to 5 people, 3 part timers (me, my boyfriend and Joooooaaaay), all of whom truly care about our products. The economy has made clients unwilling to pay and wait for quality, I partly blame IKEA. But these lulls give me reading time, double-edged sword. I'd put the site link but Ms. Mod said I couldn't.
When I'm not here or reading, I'm playing games on my computer. Big Fish has a free to play game called Farm Up that I really enjoy. It's a slow, laid back game but it came with no instructions. Headed to the forum and found people a lot like the ones I found here. Kind and helpful, happy to discuss the issues over the back fence.
