I was going to attempt it, I was all the way up at the top, and as soon as I stepped out from behind the big cliff to the left the wind started blowing like crazy and almost knocked me off. Which, if I would have fallen, I would have fallen behind the falls, which isn't so high (but high enough to kill me). There is nothing up there to grab onto nor to stop you if you start to slide. Nothing. I figured I wanted to read a few more of Sai King's novels before I go to the clearing at the end on the path.....

Castle Rock is the formation to the left of the Falls. A giant rock formation. Not me in the pic as I was way too frightened to go out there! No way, no how!

I love gravy. I love having a small bowl of gravy by myself before everyone else gets up on Sunday mornings hollering for their pancakes and bacon. I'm a weirdo - I eat it with toast - I don't care for biscuits. Do y'all like gravy? No one else in my house likes gravy. Warning: food porn.

I need to quit wondering why I'm not a skinny gal in spite of my commitment to working out. I'm clearly committed to eating poorly.

My mom made the BEST hamburger gravy. So good. sigh. so good.

Don't worry about being "a skinny gal" HollyGolightly. I got a big shock this year when I looked at the pics from our King Kon trip (heavy sigh).

I guess all I can do it commit to having a healthier lifestyle for the next two years so I will look better in Colorado in 2016!

I put on at least 25 lb since last summer - due to time off from the doctor, medication, etc. Yikes!

Andy tried the biscuits and gravy at a restaurant on the way down. He said the first bite was very good, but unfortunately he ordered eggs over easy on the side with it, and in his opinion they did not go well together (of course he DOES eat haggis) :m_curious:

Happy Sunday everyone!!
Been a weekend full of adventure. Will let you know more about it tomorrow. I also have pictures to show. The whole
weekend it's been very hot around 30C/86F to 33C/92F But next week forecast says bad T-storms and rain.

I am so sorry to hear that Lepplady. May he rest in peace.

By gravy - do you mean that sausage gravy that is sort of a white colour? We saw some in a slow cooker in Wisconsin as part of the complimentary breakfast and I thought it was oatmeal at first. :m_whatwhat:
Up North the only gravy I knew before that was a brown colour - no offense!
