The last night episode was rather cool, at least I liked it more than the previous two. Things are finally coming clear... though, still too many questions left. And with every episode the number of these questions grows;-D I guess now it's clear
Barbie's dad does know much more than he tells. I hope Barbie will be okay in the next episode... And now I guess Pauline with Sam and Lyle shall go to Chester's Mill some way. I wonder - may the door to the city be connected with that obelisk? May it be inside? Well, anyway, things are strange. On one hand, we see the military know something. On the other hand, things are obviously supernatural...

Did anyone get the connection in last nights episode?

Written on the dome by Barbie, then crossed out-- "not Penny's Boat"-- connection:
Not Penny's Boat
In the communications room of The Looking Glass station, Charlie was able to establish a connection with Penelope Widmore, during which he discovered that the boat waiting offshore did not belong to Penny, contrary to what Naomi had told the survivors. However, as soon as he found this information out, Mikhail, who had previously been thought dead, appeared with a live grenade in his hand, blowing out the porthole to the room, letting water flood in. Charlie, realizing his last chance, pulled out a marker and struggled to write on his hand as the water rose. He was able to complete his message, "Not Penny's Boat", and press it against the window so Desmondcould see, before Charlie swam back and drowned. ("Through the Looking Glass") LOST TV show

^^YES!! That was totally awesome! And as a Lost fan, I loved it! Haha.

I really like how things are "strange" now! It's very interesting how things are going...also if Sam, Lyle, and Pauline make it back to Chester's Mill, I can't wait for Big Jim's reaction! I wonder what Barbie's dad involvement (and the government/military??) with the dome is...

Are there are only two episodes left this season?

And we see that

Phil was still alive after taking a blast to the chest. And was able to fight! Or is he dead and come back?
I think
too many people have seen him, so he is alive. If only Big Jim saw him, then it would be a problem;-D

Now when I think about the ending of the last night's episode... Do you think
Big Jim will jump to get out of the town? Or will he try to hide from everyone he knows there is a way out of the town? Maybe he also knows more about the dome than we think?

I'm thinking
Barbie's dad's company definitely has something to do with the dome. Why else would he bother changing the email Barbie sent to Julia? Still thinking aliens might be involved somehow too. The egg that came from the meteor just screams alien to me, lol. The techy guy that helped Barbie is probably going to play an important part somehow, but I'm definitely getting the feeling Barbie's dad is not a good guy. Big Jim... now that he's seen that Barbie is outside of the dome, I don't think things are going to be going well on the inside. I'm also, oddly, getting the feeling Junior and Melanie are getting a little too friendly ;DD
I'm still totally hooked though, just dying to see where the plot's going to go next.

Interesting about inquiry about Big Jim...
this might be a long shot, but do you think that Pauline might've told him something about it? Maybe Big Jim is playing everyone?[/SPOILIER]

I think, a few pages back, one of y'all suggested...
that the military could be responsible for creating the dome as some kind of experiment to save mankind and the missile attack was a test. That would kinda explain Barbie's dad's reactions. Maybe the military knows aliens have shown an interest in earth?

I like that techy guy :) I don't think he knows whats going on but I'll bet he can figure it out :)

I did not catch that... probably because I didn't watch LOST. LOST sounds like something I would have liked. I probably wouldn't have caught the connection anyways, my attention was on how quickly and easily Barbie was able to write backwards lol

There are 13 episodes so we have 3 episodes left. I wish it was aired all year long, waiting for next summer is going to be tough :( The title of next week's episode is
The Red Door
:)

I don't understand why Big Jim and Junior thought Pauline was dead. There couldn't have been a body. Maybe Big Jim does know (his ego wouldn't let him admit his wife wanted to leave him) and lied to Junior and the townsfolk. Was Pauline's death described in a past episode?

I thought her "death was suicide, if I remember...
