...I am a well medicated Brown's fan, and I'M heartily sick of "Johnny Bieber"....once he gets to play in a real game-then we'll see how he stacks up, or how his hype gets buried under a 350 pound lineman...

I think he can be a good nfl QB. I just hope The Browns are smart about him and don't rush him into the starting lineup before he's ready.

As a NY Jets fan, I would like to start a petition to have Tom Brady retire. :)

As a Pats fan we'll take it under advisement. As long as the Jets get moved to the arena league where they belong. On second thought, butt fumbles are pretty entertaining :) I guess we'll keep them for comic relief. We'll settle for Rex Ryan being gagged for a month.

There will be hollering and crying this year, no doubt.

I'm just looking forward to the Ogre slipping into his football coma so I can get busy with my DIY projects. It's a long time between February and the end of August/ beginning of Sept. Saturdays we host the parties, Sundays he disappears to into someone else's man cave.
You forgot the Commodorks.
(Yes, I said it. I went there, so I can rag on them all I want.)
(But they're half-way decent in basketball, so who cares about their football team?)

LOL. First time in quite a few years I'm thinking the Jets have a shot at post season. Wished they would have addressed WR needs a little more but oh well.

The Pats paying all that money for Revis has me scratching my head when so many other needs could have been filled.

IIRC we get 3 games this side of the pond this season.
Will I be going to one? Well, if I didn't go when the 'Niners were over...(Wembley is bloody expensive: a cheeseburger and fries goes for £8.50, according to yesterday's Community Shield prices. That's about $14.30 at today's exchange rate. For a regular cheeseburger, nothing fancy.)
My Becky reckons this will be the Bengals' season. But she said the same last year...and the year before... She's kinda new to it, though I'm a bit disappointed she's not learnt better by now.
Then again, in her first season she couldn't think who the Titans were and asked who played in Tennessee, as that was all she could remember...so I said they were the Nashville Gnashers and she didn't realize I was pulling her leg for two weeks! :D

Most of Pats issues last year were on the defensive side so I see why they did it. They have major talent coming back from injury. A healthy Gronk wreaks havoc on the opposing teams. Too bad his moron teammate decided to go all gangsta and get locked up for murder......... What a waste of multiple lives and talent.

I dunno. The Pats were 12 & 4 last season. I think they’ll do about the same this season and take the AFC east... with or without Revis, with or without cheating. That’s just a lot of money wasted IMO.

12 and 4 with a horrid defense, Brady's favorite target injured, Brady's second favorite target in jail and WR's that couldn't hold onto the ball to save their lives. Defense is healthy, Gronk will hopefully be healthy and we may have a WR that can actually hold onto the ball. I see another deep playoff run.........

Hey, I remember the bad ol' times in NE so I'll enjoy the run of good times until Brady retires then its back to the NFL basement :)

Taking a flight out of Miami, I had a temporary brain fart and wore a NY Jets T-shirt. Going through the gate the TSA agents said "What in the world were you thinking," then proceeded to have some fun at my expense.

One of the things that makes the Jets rivalry a little more heated among us Florida natives is that there are so many people from New York that live here and many are Jets fans. So, if you go to a Dolphins - Jets game, it's hard to tell who the home team is sometimes and that really gets on my nerves. ;-D You just don't like going to the home stadium and have it full of fans from another city. Also, the Jets are like a 2nd home team when it comes to games that are shown locally on TV. So many times, when the Dolphins are not on, we get the Jets. It has been a great rivalry at times over the years.

I’ve always considered the Dolphins and Jets to be the number one rivalry and has made for some great games over the years. But since Belichick pulled his after-the-fact stunt and bolted from the Jets, leaving them high and dry after everything was in gear for him to take over the helm, New England has become enemy number one.

I’ll always remember staying up till the wee hours of the morning for the Miracle At The Meadowlands game in 2003. Best game of all time IMO.

Would this count as one of those bad times? :D
