Somewhere over the Rainbow
OK, so I felt bad Thinner didn't have anything in it yet. The book is my favorite of the Bachman novels. I loved the book and I thought they did the movie well. I didn't read the book as Bachman novel though, I read it in paperback with Stephen King's name on the cover when I was younger.
I did find it in the book club edition recently with no mention of King and "Bachman's photo." It's pretty cool. The message throughout the book I always thought is "Don't be a jerk because payback is hell."

I loved Thinner. I'm lucky enough to have a hard back copy with a picture of Richard Bachman and it's dedicated to his wife Claudia. I thought it was about taking responsibility when you do something wrong instead of hiding behind your priviledge.
Oh wow - I didn't know there was a release with some made up bio and pictures! How cool to own that! I'll be looking for it. By the time I read it, everyone knew it was King.

I read it as a Bachman but knew it was a King.

I got to somewhere in the 3rd chapter. It has been awhile.

He was eating at a stop. WaWa? Somewhere the have microwave sandwiches.

Just the way it was described...... I called my sister and said... This is Stephen King.

No way anyone else could write like that.

So you knew before it was officially announced? So did I. It was when someone drank a brand name pop. I think it was Coca Cola.
