On the CW is a new series starring Rose McIver, it is based on a comic book series. I've seen several episodes and its a hoot!!

From the Wiki thingy:
While the series retains the lead character's ability to absorb memories and abilities through eating brains, her backstory is substantially changed. Liv (changed from Gwen) is an intern physician who is turned into a zombie after being scratched by one. The series picks up five months after the incident, with Liv now working as a morgue assistant, which provides her with a steady supply of brains that she must eat in order to retain her intelligence, with the side effect of her receiving flashes of memories from the dead (and absorbing their habits and abilities) which she uses to assist in solving crimes.

First show as in most new debuts was merely setting the premise. I persisted and found the second and third show fun as she exhibits the mannerisms of the deceased after she has snacked on their brains. The third show was about a philandering artist who was murdered, it was amusing seeing her
coming on to one of his models while questioning her whereabouts, the looks on the faces of the observers were really funny.

I missed seeing the pilot when The CW aired it but caught it last night when TNT aired a repeat. It's kinda cute. It's more like Psych than The Walking Dead lol. I loved Psych :)

I also missed seeing the 2nd episode and TNT isn't repeating it. Is there anything I need to know before watching the 3rd episode?

The zombie that turned her showed up and said he was not pushing drugs anymore and she said he could share the brains in the morgue but then she saw him later when the big pusher sent two goons to take him back into the business and she wrote him off because she thought he was dealing again but she also did not see him kill the goons. He also turned another woman, now he is feeding brains to her.

Has anyone read the comicbook the series is adapted from?

My cousin had a large comic book collection. It took me weeks to read them all. Best weeks of my life lol

Right now, I have just a few beloved ones at home. My brother has a huge collection, including the rest of my old ones. At one time, I had all of the original Spiderman books, from 1-200, and then sporadically after that. If I had to guess, he's probably sold a lot of those by now--lol.

That was a good episode :) Did I miss something? Do we know how Blaine became a zombie? or is that something we'll discover in future episodes?
