Under 'Medicare', here in Australia, if you get a referral from a doctor, a person is allowed ten free consultations to a psychologist. I told the psychologist last week(the same one I saw when my father died) about the dream. He said that hundreds of years ago that dream would have been interpreted as spiritual contact with the dead. He said now that we know more about dreams, we can interpret them differently. I asked him about what felt like the 'charge' that woke me up. He said if I wanted to think that was my father contacting me from the grave, that's all good.

I was going through some of my Dad's stuff, and he has a certificate like the one above. My father's is dated 1949. The first time a Merchant Seaman(and most probably Navy personnel) cross the equator, they get dunked into the water. My father's was aboard the M.S. Canada. I scan it and post it.

What a smile, and those dimples!
All I inherited was a dimple down my chin, and hazel eyes, and I was a tow-headed Swede kid. You would have liked my mum, if you had been my friend, and came around the house, she would have given you a glass of lemonade, and a cake, like an apple Danish, or sponge cake. Or even chocolate cake. But when she put the records on, well, we'll go to the playground. Play cricket. Shoot some hoops. Kick a Rugby ball. 1975.

Cool! We had a King Neptune ceremony in 1995 when we crossed over the Equator in a Hercules aircraft - thanks for bringing back the memories.

I went to see the new 'Mad Max' today, about two hours ago, and I was a bit disappointed. The stunts are brilliant, but Max almost plays a supporting role. Theron has an American accent and Hardy has an English one, and its supposed to be in Australia.

What a nice looking momma. And I love your dad's certificate. That is a cool story. I am so sorry for your loss.
I not going to bang on about it anymore. What scared me a lot was thinking there was nothing after someone dies. Now that I had that dream, I know that there is something after.

is that recent?

Must have been a long way down, Neesy. Being dunked in the water from an aircraft going 500 mph would give a person burns on the bum.

Oh, I knew they breed them tough up in Canada, but I was thinking that was a bit extreme.
I noticed by your avatar you like fishing - Andy caught an interesting fish called a brown bullhead - it was quite large but he chose to throw it back so it could go on (hopefully making more brown bullheads).
