Saw that the cover for The Bazaar of Bad Dreams will be released a little at a time to promote the release. An okay idea, I like it one sense; in another, completely different sense, I'm not sure if this is a potent way to build a tentpole piece of literature.

They make book trailers, right? Why not make a couple short films from the short stories? Post them on YouTube. Have at least one of the shorts directed by a celebrity or a famous director. The other could be from someone in film school.

Or, take one short story, have several short films based on it? Sort of like that series that was on Starz (think that was the channel), The Chair.

Several YouTube personalities, ones with big millennial followings, might be approached to participate.

Something like this might get the book in front of the younger generations.

That trailer was composed of quotes from his books, correct?
That was a little confusing. I did not find the book to be scary at all.

It did have it's moments...
I was more or less talking about the images, more than the quotes - I had to watch it again but I did not find it confusing.
