Hello all,
I have a question and hopefully someone can help or steer me in the right direction. I work with a band called PALEHORSE, they just finished an album that has been many years in the making. We finished recording the album this past April, 2015. We wanted to maintain this feel of Heavy 70's rock, with a desert, almost western feel. The artwork was even finished a few years back with this cow skull thing that I personally designed.

Oddly enough when the new vocalist came in, his impression of the band/music was something of the same kind of feeling as he began writing his lyrics based around the DARK TOWER series. In the end after the album was completed (myself not being completely familiar with the books) he said he used the entire series as lyrical inspiration for all 7 songs on the album. Some of the song titles are "Gunslingers", "Crimson King", "Drawing Of The Three", "The Dark Tower", etc.

Now to my question, it was brought to my attention that there is some sort of plan for a movie and/or tv series based on these books. Who/where could I contact someone in regards to getting them a copy of this album as it would be a perfect soundtrack to anything associated with the book series.

The album will be released on Sept. 15th, here is a link to the first single that was released titled "Black Thirteen"

Any help with this would be appreciated greatly! Thanks everyone for taking the time to read this.

....I like the retro sound...bit of a cross between Black Sabbath and Bad Company.....and I agree with the above post, the video is flat...if you can find the budget, it needs reworked...WAY to static...but the music and vocals are solid man, I wish you luck...
I was thinking of Ozzy also.. I loved it!! I agree that the video needs something.. anything. I will definitely be listening for yall's music.. LOVE the name of the album

Appreciate all the kind words.

The video wasn't meant to be used as a music video, I literally shot the thing on my Go Pro, slowed the playback speed way down and added an effect. It was more of just a lyric video and something to just watch while listening to instead of staring at a blank screen. But nonetheless really appreciate the fact you guys checked out the song, etc.

Like I had mentioned the whole album is based off of the Dark Tower series so as I get more lyric videos posted or at some point if an "official" music video does get made I'll be sure to let you all know.

Again appreciate the feedback!

Sorry, we're not involved with the movie's production office to that degree so don't have any contact information to pass along. You could try contacting Imagine Entertainment (you can google their address).

I had some work licensed to a movie years ago. Most of the movies are either directly contacting record labels with an idea in mind for what they want to fit the production, or they use a placement service like TAXI to find music that matches a general set of parameters. Taxi will also give you official feedback on the recording from the lyrics to the production value. There is a fee involved I believe, though.

For me - it's a defo a 'supernatural ' Sam and dean road trip sound. Fits right into that 70/80s theme . Will watch out for more.

I'm currently listening to Lord of the Rings on audiobook, and was just thinking about all the musical tie-ins to that work (and by extension, the DT series). Zeppelin's by far my favorite, and I imagine Zepp would have leaned toward King as well. I really have no idea, though.
