Did you forget to pay your damper bill? Might need to get on the horn in the morning when they open, explain things, send them a pic of you with snowflakes in your eyelashes...maybe photoshop an ugly dog into the picture. Or...use mine...tell 'em your Uncle Ed stopped by, took up space, walked around in socks...the same socks, day in day out. Then the ladder fell on your truck after you bumped the house. The dog ran away...had a pile of bills in his mouth...so you couldn't pay. Others may have some ideas. What the board is all about...we're there for you, Audra, just say the word as the song has it, say the word say the word.
They do and its only getting worse. I was at the store literally the day after July 4th and they were already getting the school supplies out :/
I'm never ready for my kids to go back to school.
We countdown to the first day here. I don't know who loves back-to-school more, me or my son lol!

I have witnessed Christmas items being put out before July 4th.
Me too, and just as soon as soon as I can afford a carton of cigarettes, I am going to quit...well you know, again
I like having the kids home myself, but this year... yeah, I'm ready for there to be some routine and order again. It's been a crazybusy summer! 13 days until the first goes back to school!

My SIL had his court date today for his DUI, and a hit, and run.
He got charged with reckless driving, and a fine of $255. He now has 11 1/2 points on his license, and 12 is the limit before the license is taken away.
They are at the DMV now to see if he can get his license renewed.
His lawyer sent him a 6 page list of all the fines he has paid. I told him that I drove for about 47 years, and never got stopped, and never got a ticket. He is 31 years old, and has had all those driving tickets, and fines. I told him he really needs to grow up, and act responsible behind the wheel of a vehicle.
The court is also looking into whether the issurance companies have paid for the accident, and if not that will come out of his pocket also. He is such a dumbazz.

When you were a kid, did you ever wish that you had been born in a barn so that when someone said, "close the door, were you born in a barn? You could say "yes I was."

Oh geez Peg! He needs to ride a bicycle - drinking and driving do not work ever. Plus the money! Ugh. I'm agreeing with you, gal.
I just hope he learns a lesson from this.
