Mr. Mercedes is a HOT book right now, but really hoping that I can put this one to rest in my bookcase. In trade, I've mainly got the UK S/L of "Wind Through The Keyhole", and a Lettered Cemetery Dance "Fangoria: Cover To Cover", but I'd consider other collectible editions from my Newbie post shelfie as well, if the right opportunity came along.

I've thankfully got a signed "placeholder" 2nd Edition Airport Paperback of "Mr. Mercedes" that came from the Brooklyn Revival signing event where carts of paperbacks were brought out for the lucky attendees of that event. I'm glad that I made a good deal with the trusted seller/attendee that managed to get this!

My longer term goal is that I'd like to get remarqued "Artist Editions" of each of the Dark Tower books. I've got the DT5 - Wind Artist Editions already, but don't really know how to go about getting them remarqued.

1.) I'm still looking for a signed hardcover 1st of Mr. Mercedes. I really would like to find it before I have to deal with finding End Of Watch.

2.) Also, a much easier ask is for a Fine hardcover 1st of The Stand - Uncut with a dustjacket clean of scuffs, wear & defects particularly the wrinkles or separation in the plastic laminate so common to this edition. If it makes any difference, I'm looking to donate this for a larger charity package that will be built around the book.

3.) While I'm here, let's also see if anyone has a good ORIGINAL The Stand DUSTJACKET only with the $12.95 issue price, no major tears, creases, wear. I've got a great book, but my DJ is rougher than I would like. Is there any kind reader out there with any of these items that they could part with reasonably?

Oh yes, thanks John & Sundrop, already keep Betts/David in my scopes, TDT, eBay, etc. A flatsigned Mr. Mercedes is just a TOUGH book to even find, let alone afford. I'll keep looking though. If I can wait nearly 20 years between Dark Tower 2 and 7, I can certainly keep patient enough to track this one down eventually. :)

Okay, thanks everyone. I managed Mr. Mercedes with patience a fair amount of $$, and a good amount of luck! It should be in my hands tomorrow!

Thanks, it's a bit premature, the box is in transit (and a little overdue), but hasn't arrived yet. It's coming from a trusted source though so not concerned.

Oh I will.....especially when I get the hat trick of all 3 put together (assuming that I can make that happen)! I'm 2/3 of the way there now, if there are ANY signings for End Of Watch I'm going to be doing my damnedest to make sure I am there. Maybe I'll meet you!
