In the grant hardcover of DT III there r several illustrations in it. I wish more authors would use these and king to even do more. I know in today's world and even going back several decades that grown up books don't have pics. Those r for kids. I think that's ridiculous. Way back in ago time (reference to IT) a lot of books had Pics. Not sure when the philosophy changed but it would be nice to see more of it. Especially with some of the talent out there in the artist field. Just incredible work. For example in DT III on around page 257 shows a pic of eddie getting jake to come into their world. The pic of the wall coming to life represents the scene in the book so well it gave me goose bumps. I just wish on the door there would have been the words "the boy". That would have been perfect. I looked real hard to see if it was there but couldn't see it. The way it's drawn it could be easy to miss so I apologize if it's there. Like to here your opinions on this either way. And your ideas why it would inane the book or the other way if it detracts from it at all. My friend said he rather not have it bc it gives u the visual so the experience of creating the scene in your head and imagination is taking away. I called bs on em. It's not like there r 100 pics in there. I don't think it ruins it at all but all opinions welcome.
