I've been reading the forums here for about a year now I think. But this is my first post. I write and draw children's books for a living and except for one I illustrated called The Book That Eats People they are not very comparable to what Mr. King writes about. But recently I have sold several short stories that were definitely inspired by Mr. King. If anyone is looking for some short reads you can check them out at the links below, a website that focuses on fiction about Hollywood. It seems odd for a kids book writer and illustrator to admit, but he was always the writer I wanted to read and I enjoy his books more as I get older.

Mr. Fearing, I love that illustration style!

I have, from time to time, imagined how it would be to illustrate a book for children, but I really have trouble trying a similar style.

SHEEMIE, these authors should be grateful, since their posts (which I had never even noticed, links or no links to their sales pages) were infused with new life. :beguiled:

Otherwise, they would have simply faded into obscurity.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry for posting links to something I wasn't supposed to. I wasn't trying to sell books, just show what I had done, am doing. My blog usually stays up to date but I've been too busy the past 3 months and will be for the rest of the year to do much blogging. Or reading! But I finally finished The Bazaar of Bad Dreams and a collection of H.P Lovecraft that I've been meaning to finish for a year. But I'm not sure I'll get back to another novel until October, perfect season for some more Stephen King!
