I know I will.

On his Twitter, Chandler Riggs got ticked at people leaking that overseas photo and talking about Carl's eye.
I can see where he's coming from. But, seriously. It's tv, and in this age of the internet, stuff's BOUND to get leaked. Especially if the series follows a comic that already tells the story.
I feel the kid, but he should roll with it and be glad he's got the job. It's not going to last forever.

If I was writing TWD, he'd have been chewed by now (for reasons of keeping the timeline clear:
Judith can be re-cast or basically left as a prop in a cradle or carry-cot; Carl's visible ageing isn't so easy to explain away, and not a lot of time can have passed since Judith's birth seeing as she's not toddling around - or even crawling - yet).
But be that as it may, that's not even a leak. That's Fox promotional material, which they have (presumably) released into the Russian market ahead of the series return. In this day and age, that means it is out there, whether Fox hadn't intended it to be seen in North America or not. (And geographical markets are irrelevant anyway. If that's been released in a batch of promotional gubbins, Fox themselves have issued a bloody great spoiler intended for Russian fans. Have that, Putin! Kapow!)

For the back half of the season:
Sam needs to get severely nibbled for turning into Eric Cartman on the way out of the house. "But muuurm!"
Father Gabriel to go out in a blaze of glory while playing running back with Sam as the ball in order to save the dozy little so-and-so.
Jessie to...SURVIVE! after keeping her gob shut rather than calling Sam's name - an act which causes her to lose her other son (though hopefully he also adds to the buffet, annoying little twonk).
Glenn to survive, at least for a while. Maggie could well be screaming his name because she's finally caught sight of him, but also sees a load of trouble coming up behind. I was deeply unimpressed with the whole Glenn and the Dumpster BS, especially as this known survivor ran past a fire escape that he could have scooted up to keep the horde on as narrow a front as possible (plug a few and block the others, then all you need is a deck of cards to pass the time), so any more Glenn-related horse-apples in the back half might have me reaching for the remote.
Anything else...well, whatever should be fine. I wasn't massively impressed by the first half of the season, though it wasn't terrible by any means. The stand-out, IMO, was the flashback ep with Morgan, the guy whose name I forget, and the goat, though there was some good writing scattered throughout...but not quite as much as the bad/'dafuq?' bits and bobs.

Oh, and those cookies...what the hell? An unmitigated disaster. They'd have been better off using them to reinforce the wall. Even the ants took weeks to get rid of one!

Back half predictions:

Jessie and her boys die. Good riddance.
Morgan is likely a goner, largely because Lennie James is in demand on two continents--lol. I can't see him agreeing to a long-term contract. I'm torn whether it will be him or Daryl who gets it at the end of the season.
Abraham is likely going to die. Too bad--that's a character who was severely cheated by them inventing Daryl. Good actor, too.
Tara, unless they decide to finally do something with the character. Sasha is similarly pointless, but I don't think they'll kill both of them.
Fr. Gabriel will likely hang on for a while, if only so it doesn't look like they're punishing the actor for his off-screen peccadilloes.
Denise...will hang on at least for a while. I see her being one of the only Alexandrites who carries forward through the season, but who knows?

With the amount of FX and zombies early in the season and what are likely coming up, plus with new characters joining up, the existing cast will have to be cut (unless AMC skyrockets the budget--haven't heard anything about that happening so far).

These are based on the show, NOT the comic, and are only predictions by story arc and filming expense realities. Then again, if the writers paid attention to story arc, Daryl would have died last season...

BTW, has anyone seen the most recent graphic novel? I read the first few pages at B&N the other day and desperately wanted it--good stuff there! However, at $20/ea for the GNs... I check them out from the library :p Going today to see if they have this one yet.

No, skimom2! Jessie can't die, because...reasons! Yes, reasons. The kids can sod off, though (and she doesn't really look old enough to have a 15-16 year old, but maybe that's just my eyes).

LOL! She is pretty, but they haven't put the time into developing her as anything BUT a mom. If the kids bite it, she will, too.

This is my biggest argument with the show: very little time is spent on character development in the last few seasons (past season 2; season 3 is particularly bad), and when they do slow down people bitch. But think about it: why do we (corporately) GAD about the early characters? Because we've gotten to know them--they had time to develop in the first seasons, which is good because there's precious little development since then. Everyone past that... who cares? They're cannon fodder. It's too bad.

Was watching some of the reruns, and noticing how many times walkers are stabbed in the head..I think it was showed at least once, but if you try that,in most cases the hand slides off the grip and ends up being sliced along with whoever the target is..that is what happened with OJ Simpson..if you want to brain stab a walker, use a knife with a blade guard for your fingers and thumb!

I've been watching old episodes on blu-ray during the off season and thought of something I'm not sure of. Is there something wrong with the fish? I wonder why the survivors never seem to fish. I remember there was one episode where Glenn got a couple of fish and the group made a big deal about it but it's the only time I remember any fish.

I don't remember any mention of anything being wrong with the fish. So did I miss something along the way? Why don't they fish?
