One of my favorite Prince quotes: In an interview near the beginning of his career, someone asked him if he was afraid that the way he dressed and his 'outrageous' style would hurt his career (paraphrasing--I can't remember the exact words). I saw this a couple of days ago, LL. I took it as a compliment to Prince. I think he'd get a chuckle out of it, too.I hope it's not too soon...
It's been a week and I'm still in shock. Hard to think that he really is gone, when with all of the news coverage still popping up. I hope that his soul is at peace and that he knows how missed and loved he is. I never wanted to ever get a tattoo but I think I will have his 'symbol' tatted on my body somewhere. RIP my friend, RIP.

That was great! I had a smile on my face listening to that.
There's going to be a huge fight over his estate. I saw on the MSN homepage that his sister stormed out of a meeting, so it's already begun. Hard for me to think he didn't have a will as he was so meticulous about contracts, etc.
...indeed, this is where the ugly begins and the sordid underbelly of "family relations" shows...it is rather incredible that nothing has been found in the way of his wishes, because he was so OCD about such things....I hate to see his legacy drug through the mud like this, but involve money-and the major suckage starts.....
I had read that he didn't like to sign anything.
If you watch the interview with Larry King, he says that he didn't like contracts.
