IT audio book wanted

Hi everyone. I am looking for an audio book version of IT. Here in the UK it seems impossible to get hold of except for silly money. Doesn't have to be new as long as it's p!stable and sounds good. Anyone have copy they are prepared to sell or know where I might be able to obtain a copy? CD or MP3 preferable so I can play on my long car journeys for work.

I was able to borrow a copy through the library for free. Not sure how your loaning system works in the UK. Have you checked ebay?

Yes, eBay has nothing. Been looking here for months. UK libraries do have many audio books but they tell me IT was never made available here. Audible US have it but not Audible UK and the US sight won't let me buy it... Something about licensing. One on Amazon for £999! I want it, but not at that price. Thanks for your suggestion though.

Ohmygosh, I would have never thought anything SK would go out of print - text or audiobook. I should have guessed... I had to buy a used paperback copy of The Colorado Kid. I wonder if audiobook CDs are ever re-released. I just looked at amUK and there's a listing for 1 new MP3 CD of IT. I don't know how expensive 49.93 pounds is though lol.

It's quite expensive. One like this would normally retail for about half of this. Thanks for looking, the £4k plus one is never going to sell though! I might get the £49 one as there seems to be no other choice.

Yes to an audible subscription, get most of my audio books through them. Unfortunately IT isn't available on the Audible UK site, unlike the US version. Something to do with licensing. The US sites always seem to be better served with more titles than here in the UK. It's so unfair. Throws rattle out of pram, stamps off down hall for a cry... Rant over!

Try amazon.
Amazon UK has a used CD set for around £60.
Amazon US has it starting around $110 (and I believe it ships overseas for extra S&H fees).
Also, you can try the publisher website directly (Penguin). I think they offer downloadable version of certain titles.

Sorry. Bought mine a few years back, but I could never part with it now. I was lucky to get it brand new from Amazon at the time, no third party involved. Some people just charge ridiculous amounts of money for hard to get items. If you haven't already, and it's still available, get the £49 one. It is a brilliant set and I listen to it regularly as well as read the physical book. I'm a bit of an IT addict.
