It is really fascinating, and disturbing. All we know is that there has been a murder, but we don't know who or why yet. I can see any one of the male or female characters being the dead body, there is enough drama.I watched the first one because it was free HBO weekend last weekend. I loved it, and I'm intrigued. But it disturbed me. Those kind of women live in my suburb. I got an avalanche of hatred once for breaching some unknown code of Science Mom etiquette. Let me know how it goes. I'd love to hear that the women come together and make nice and have playdates at Chic Fila but I don't think that's where it's going. I saw where cat in a bag read it, I might give the book a try.
I'd almost get HBO for it. I was hoping to see the rest of The Divorce while it was free, but they didn't show it. Did you watch that?It is really fascinating, and disturbing. I will never get women like this. Mothers like this. It's just a continuation of mean girl behavior as adults. Living a life they didn't have as a child, through their kids.
I live in an area that a certain church and its teachings are very prominent. The women have very little autonomy or power, the men hold it all. So, they get into the schools and rule that PTO like a boss. They are good at it. But, there is a hierarchy that directly correlates to their husband's position in the church. It's a weird habitat to watch. And really fascinating.
Not sure how many episodes are planned for this show, but will go for the ride.
Amen, sisterwife! No, didn't watch Practical Magic or The Divorce. Women could rule the world if they would quit giving away their brains and power.
She is totally believable in her role.I am watching! Haven't seen last night's yet though.
The book was good. I love Reese Witherspoon as Madeline so far, even though she was brunette in my mind. She is sassy!
