This might be a good alternative for you: A pre-publication proof of the UK uncut edition of The Stand. Stand, The (UK Uncut Edition) - Stephen King - GW and Son

or I do have a signed Mr. Mercedes paperback. It came from the King/Straub family event in Brooklyn a few years back. If you don't know, there are VERY few signed copies of Mr. Mercedes out there since he never did any kind of signing event for it. It IS a 2nd printing, but that is what was available. Also, since grabbing the books was a free for all, there is a small, almost unnoticeable blemish on the cover from an overzealous "The Claw". I'd let that go for for $200 or a reasonable offer (less than I paid for it). It isn't leather of course, but it IS exceedingly rare.

Gerald has some great books available for immediate sale. What particularly catches my eye is Knowing Darkness: Knowing Darkness: Artists Inspired By Stephen King - GW and Son. It's in a slightly lower price range than a Coffin Case Stand. It is a VERY impressive book weighing in at 32 pounds. Some collectors have designed a custom-built spot on their bookcases for this book. It isn't signed by King, but you do get lots of other artist signatures, including Michael Whelan and Bernie Wrightson.

Let us know what you end up with.

(Had to remove the URL. Can't directly link to items for sale. You can send it to anyone in a PM, though. Sorry. - Mod)
