The only time that TV was on all night was for the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
If you have a smartphone, check a free app called "Russian Made Easy." It's what I started with. Never too old to learn! Another free app called "Russian Alphabet Mastery" does a very good job of teaching the Cyrillic alphabet.
Today I'm working, I get to work from home 3 days per week.
This evening I hope to spend more time in my Russian studies, trying to learn the language.
I saw them a few months ago in Birmingham, Alabama. They're my favorite current group (can't top the Beatles for all time) and I first heard about them in a post here in SKMB.
Mini-series was very good, book was great. Still my favorite post-DT King writing. I didn't like some of the changes from the book to the series, but all in all, better than most stuff on TV this year.
I watched the first season and the first couple of episodes of season 2, but just couldn't make myself watch it after that. Might be different if we still had a DVR or on-demand for AMC.
I'm late to this particular party so someone else might've said this, but even though it's a work of fiction, King has clearly stated that after all of his research, he firmly believes Oswald was the sole shooter.
I'm oncall over Memorial Day weekend, and hope to not get many calls. I might cookout, might just enjoy the great indoors. Hope to spend some time working on my fiction (I'm long overdue for a return to it) and continuing to learn Russian.

I've been here most of my life. Yes, we have electricity, air conditioning, running water, and the Internet.
Will either be home or at my step-daughter and son-in-law's house a few miles away. Might have a drink or two, depending on if we'll drive back home tonight. I have to work tomorrow, hoping for an easy day since Auburn plays in a late-morning bowl game.

I thought season 4 was good up until the finale, and it was a major disappointment. It was like they used the entire episode to set up next season. It still wasn't as bad as episodes in season 3 (or was it 2) where the sole focus was on Brody's family...
