I agree with everyone else, this one is tough. Unless you're a constant reader it's difficult to get a "happy feeling" afterwards... most endings are dark or solemn, but that's what I love. Maybe you could try Hearts in Atlantis? :indecisiveness: Or perhaps a book set in Castle Rock again.
Yes he did! I actually really enjoyed the book Insomnia, I wouldn't list it as a favorite though. I agree that Ralph was a good character (then again, aren't they all?) ;)
I think the sex in the sewer scene is also incredibly important, but in a movie they should probably just hint at it. And I agree, the massive bird chasing Mike was always one of my favorite scenes!
