I'm finished. Loved the ending. Loved the book. The most well-written and intelligent "horror" novel I've read in a while. Although I would classify it as dystopian first before horror.

The Exorcist. The book and movie. Probably tame by today's standards, but as a preteen (when the book was published in 1971 & the movie released in 1973) this was one wild, disturbing ride that stays with me to this day.

Welcome! :watermelon: I think your answers lie in the fact that SK wrote this book with a blindfold on and just randomly hit letters on the keyboard. At least, that's how it reads to me. ;)

I'm about 3/4 through Josh Malerman's Bird Box and really liking it. Well written and thought out, it lives up to its good reviews so far. I have read that some were disappointed in the ending though. I'll wait and see to make my final judgment.

To be fair, most of what I could find online states it is 60 pages in length. That's 3 hours if read aloud.
