somehow, my work pc does not play well with others... and posted my reply mid-edit.
it should read:
if such a collection was ever published, it would almost certainly be incomplete.

my ultimate goal is to custom bind my own hardcover volume(s) of all this material...
i'm curious about the regular edition... are you referring to the softcover edition from 2013?
if so, i'd love to know if there are significant differences in the two editions.
the page count is higher in the 2013 softcover, but i assume that's due to the HC being slightly oversized.
for those...
Bizarre...
I'm listening to the audio book and the reader just announced the title as:
The New York Times at Special Discount Rates
At least she got it correct in the story; blows me away.
How does this slip through?
i waited 33 months for this... and it is AWESOME.
BRAVO, Bev. well done, sir.
no spoilers, but the SK interview is most excellent...
that's based on his answers, and his NON-answer.
i'm not sure what these sold for initially, but IIRC i paid roughly what they're currently available for at the online bookstore or online auction site... for me, it was reasonable enough.
um, i have all of the above-mentioned in Hardcover.
i also prefer a HC collection. i have all HC releases, and for the most part it wasn't too challenging (PS edition of Colorado Kid, for example).
for those works that were not released in HC (Creepshow) or cost-prohibitive instances (Cycle of...
if that is a quote from MsMod, and there's no reason to doubt it's genuine, is it generally known why he operates this way? i hadn't heard this before and my curiousity is piqued. is there another thread i need to read, or are the circumstances mum between the involved parties?
thanks for the info, John.
i've been checking out 'thedarktower.org' recently, and i read some threads over there you participated in.
do you mind if i ask you a few questions? preferably in email?
I'm hoping someone here can tell me if the 3rd edition of this book (on Amazon: 6 October 2015) is just a reprint... or is it updated with additional material? I have a copy from years and years ago, and I didn't wanna pull the trigger and then discover the only update was to the cover.
Thanks...
just finished BH this morning, and this comment by Lord Malshun stuck in my head too.
it seems that he would be referring to a Burnside replacement (like taggs said), someone
who could locate Breakers.
my first thought was Dinky Earnshaw, but I can't remember where Everything's Eventual
was set...
i read them in the same order, and also enjoyed Desperation more. i may have enjoyed Regulators more had i read Desperation first, as it seemed Desperation delved more into Tak's... well, 'origin' for lack of a better word. they did indeed seem like alternate worlds of each other, and it was...
chief, this wiki link should explain exactly what you're getting:
The Secretary of Dreams - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
as for the 'turnaround time' gripe, ugh... it's maddening. when i first started ordering from them i had no idea. now i know what's ahead when i place an order. i...
i totally get 'to each his own', and comics aren't for everyone. as a lifelong SK & comic reader / collector, i've gone through phases of being very excited to read a comic adaptation, to being mildly interested in seeing what the end result is.
the difference? Wraith is original content. i...
