Well folks, I went to the AL Kooper B-day party/concert and much to my disappointment--No SK. That was the only thing disappointing though. The music was stellar. I can never complain when I hear a couple of Dylan tunes mixed into the night. Highway 61 was quite nice. Al Kooper is still on top...

Recently purchased 11/22/63---now about halfway through and am lovin' it. Somehow I just can't critize any of SK's writing.

So I'll gather from the posts that it is highly unlikely that SK will be in Albany NY for this. What about any of the other 'Remainders".

I'm going to Al Kooper's 70th birthday bash at The Egg in Albany NY on May 17, 2014 . Is there any chance that Steve will be there to celebrate this momentous occasion. Now that would be one heck of a 'sit in guest'. I won't hold my breathe--but a fella can dream!
