    Recent Thought About This Book....

This is the finest book I've ever read, hands down! I'm reading it right now and just thought I had to express that... Masterpiece!

This Has To Be Said About This Book...

Thanks everyone Im currently listening to Cujo and that dog reminds me very much of Jack Torrance. In a way, Jack is also a good dog gone bad.. And in both cases they both flip due to external circumstances.

This Has To Be Said About This Book...

The greatest and most powerful aspect of this great book to me is the way Jack struggles with his inner demons even long before they even arrive at the Overlook. To me, I LOVE the first part of the book, the rest is just delicious gravy! :) Im sorry If im spamming the board btw, it's just my...

Major Difference/error? In The Swedish Version Of "the Gunslinger"

Does he let I haven't gotten that far yet.. Reading a real physical book is a luxury I can't afford right now (I simply do not have the time) That's why I love audio-books, I can listen to those while I work all day every day :)

Your Latest Stephen King Related Purchase:

I found two King books in a thrift shop last week: Under The Dome and Wind Thru The Keyhole (both in hardcover) for just 5 SEK a piece (5 SEK is a little less than 1 USD) Also, both looked brand new and mint! :) That made my day..

    This Is Horrible! ***spoilers***

Furthermore The main character actually has an orgasm while walking! After he's been walking for almost 24 hours.. And with people dropping like flies all around him.. Is it even possible to get an erection under those circumstances? I think I'd have some problems achieving one, but that's...

    This Is Horrible! ***spoilers***

Im "reading" this audio-book at the moment and find it absolutely horrible. The book is not horrible though, It's pretty great actually (I had my doubts about the book, how much fun can it be when all they do is walking, right?) But it captured me pretty quickly. When I say "horrible" I mean...

    Post Your Favorite Broad

Yes, she's a glamour-model / "adult-actress". I'll probably recieve a warning for posting her Picture, but the name of the thread is "Post your favourite broad" and I couldn't find any good pictures of Jessie Burlingame from Gerald's Game.

Major Difference/error? In The Swedish Version Of "the Gunslinger"

Bev Vincent: Thanks alot :) What year did he revise the book? I guess he did it to make Roland look more like a "good guy" In many ways Roland reminds me of Tony Soprano, he did some "questionable" things too but still came off as the hero (or anti-hero)

Major Difference/error? In The Swedish Version Of "the Gunslinger"

Thank you :) It would be very weird indeed if the person who translated the book into Swedish back in 1982 decided to re-write things for some strange Alien purpose..

Hi Im new to this forum and this is my first post so please be gentle :) Also, English is not my native tongue so if the grammar-police is stalking this forum then you know why there might be some errors in Spelling and whatnot. Anyway, This past summer I purchased the Swedish translation of...
